Marching to Belfast Over the Weekend to #JaxDatBass!!!

Hey Soldiers,

Last weekend I was Marching in Kerry (Ireland) For the Irish Hip-Hop Masters Championships  Judging and also teaching a workshop, and this weekend I’m Marching back over to Belfast to start my mission with @piecesofhouse in the development and foundation laying of House Dance within Ireland.

Being apart of the competition last weekend and jamming with the kids in the after parties was a huge eye opener and understanding to the level and standard of Dance in Ireland within the different schools. And even though there is so much potential as with everything in our life’s there is still a lot more learning and developing to do.
The best part of this whole situation is the hunger in each child’s eyes and Vibe to become better and wanting to learn. This was definitely shown in my workshop at the competition with the turn out (as you can see in the picture) also the enthusiasm each partaker gave back to me was over whelming considering it was the last day of the 3 day competition on a Sunday Morning before the competition started! Now that’s Hunger for ya!!!

So I write this Blog to let all my Irish Dancing Soldiers know that I’m over in Belfast this weekend to exchange with all those that want more. Most of my bookings are of Private sessions but some schools are willing to open their doors to anyone who wants to learn.

Standing to Salute the Soldiers that are Marching Hard in taking the Love we have for Dance and Performance to another level!!!

I am very Proud to report that @shockout Accademy are a unit that  definitely are Earning their Stripes in this Field! I’ve been Marching with these soldiers from when they started out in #Liverpool every Saturday! Where the standard was high then, producing and preparing talented Dancers with the knowledge and true factual experiences of what it is like to be and excel in their chosen entertainment industry of the now!

Successful then… But again have stepped up to the front-line to lead the future up and coming generations of dancers to the next level by Certifying their Students with a National Diploma! This Level of training will be like no other and I’m a little jealous that it wasn’t around in my time so Strongly Recommend if dance in the performing arts is what you want to do then make sure you are seen at the Open Audition day 30th April 2013

They say “It’s Not About The Outside but what’s On the Inside That Counts!” And I truly agree that’s the first and foremost, so what you will be learning on this course is priceless but is a definite bonus when you have both and to be training in such a prestige Space as @Studio25_manc doesn’t hurt either!!!

Marching Strong and Grateful to be apart of such a line-Up!

Truly honoured to be asked to perform with my own Solo Section in this years @avantgardedance piece. Seen a few of the shows but never been apart until this year :) But if that wasn’t enough to be able to be on stage with Mr @TonyAdigun again and his company it was also a great pleasure to know that I shared the stage with many other #talented #individuals and #collectives all of whom raised the bar in #performance and #skills that my stepping up to the #Front-Line got that little bit more #challenging! But I #love it as that’s How we progress in Life and take on the challenge with a Smile because I Complete my #Missions and Earn My Stripes!

A #Fearless #Woman 2013

This year I vowed to myself to step up to the #FrontLine in every situation given to me. To Start living life with no regrets and begin each day a new, embracing what ever is presented to me good or bad!

On 15th March I said yes to the challenge of doing a Solo; performing at the very successful and inspirational show #Icon created and organise by #KloeDean of #ILoveMyselfDance in celebration of Women’s independence.

The Performance was quite a personal one of fear and facing up to my inner darkness; realising that we all need darkness to shine! So take the time to embrace the dark facing up to your fears and see the beauty shine through and light up your life.

My Icon was Jill Scott as many of her lyrics and examples of living a very successful and inspirational life empower me as I to Question, learn, Love, Live and Give in becoming a Woman on my march to complete my own missions in life, wanted to put across the message in this piece to my fellow female Soldiers that we all have situations but start and deal with you internally and I believe all the external will fade away from the brightness of your inner light.

The feed back was great and have already started working on the development of a Fearless Woman as there are many shades.

A Huge Salute to Neil Sidlauskas for capturing such expressive shots that definitley tell a story of fear and relief! Look forward to taking you all on another journey through my movement very soon. Thank you Kloe for asking me to be apart of an event that brought out different sides to each partaking performer. Can’t wait to see the footage and add to the Show reel! :D
